Ola has finally launched the much-anticipated e-scooter of all time, the Ola Electric S1. Conjectures about this e-scooter were many up until the recent announcement of the launch. However, soon after initiating the process of online booking, people received the justification that they deserved regarding all criteria of the vehicle.

Today, good news awaits its customers who reserved the scooter a few months back. The scooter is all set for delivery in October and customers who reserved the scooter can now pay the remaining amount and finalise the paint scheme they like. In short, Ola Electric S1 will now be delivered to your home in about a month's time.
Since the brand has already commenced the online procedures for delivery, some of you might be in confusion regarding how to select your preferred choice of colour and the variant you desire, hence, we would like to present you with a step by step guide on how to get Ola electric scooter delivered to your home with respect to your requirements. Here is everything you need to know:
Step 1: The Ola Electric S1 can be purchased by logging on to the Ola Electric website. If In case the pre-booking price has been paid, the customer can proceed by logging on to Ola electric's official website using the registered phone number and select the desired variant.

Step 2: After finalising the variant, the customer can now choose a paint scheme from the 10 different colour options. Also, note that Ola has made it possible to change choices from ones that may have been selected at the time of reservations.
Step 3: Next comes the payment tab. Based on your selection of variants, a payment tab appears through which the customer needs to pay the balance amount. As for people who want to finance their scooters, an equated monthly installment figure will be presented for S1 scooters- Rs.2,999/month. However, the advanced version of the e-scooter, the Ola S1 Pro will be presented with an EMI option that begins from Rs. 3,199.
Step 4: For the purpose of financial assistance and requirements, Ola Financial Services has tied up with reputed banks including HDFC, IDFC First Bank and Tata Capital to help the customer purchase the scooter. The company has stated that HDFC bank is all set to provide pre-approved loans to eligible customers in just a matter of few minutes via Ola and Ola electric apps. It also mentioned with clarity that TATA Capital and IDFC First Bank is also willing to process digital KYC and provide eligible customers with instant loan approvals.
However, if the customer does not require any financing, an advance amount of Rs.20,000 and Rs.25,000 for Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro respectively must be paid to the company. Soon after the brand invoices the scooter, the rest of the amount must be paid to complete the transaction.
Note: Downpayment and Advance amount are completely refundable but are subject to terms and conditions.
Step 5: The delivery date will be presented once the purchasing formalities are complete. As mentioned earlier, deliveries of Ola Electric scooters will commence in October.
A little about the Ola Electric S1:
The all-new Ola S1 electric scooter gets a 2.98kWh non-removable battery that translates to an improved battery range of around 115kms to 120kms in real-world riding conditions. Ola claims that this electric scooter gets a hyperdrive motor that has a peak power output of 8.5kW (11.5 PS) and 58 Nm of peak torque. The Ola S1 has a claimed top speed of 90 kmph thanks to the hyperdrive motor.
As for features, The e-scooter comes equipped with a 7.0-inch TFT display that shows a ton of information about the vehicle. The instrument cluster is powered by a 3GB RAM paired with an octa-core processor. Other than these features, the scooter comes with hill hold control, reverse assist, cruise control, voice assist function, built-in speaker.
The Ola Electric S1 is currently sold at an approx price range of Rs. 85.10K to Rs. 1.10 Lakh, ex-showroom.
