Last Updated On 26th Oct'23: BYD India has forged a partnership with OHM E Logistics to supply 300 units of its all-electric MPV, the BYD e6. OHM E Logistics is a prominent electric cab aggregator and cargo leasing app platform with a focus on tracking and fleet management. The delivery of the BYD e6 electric MPV to OHM E Mobility will be executed in stages over the next six months.

BYD E6 Electric Powertrain: The MPV is powered by a 71.7 kWh Blade Battery with a WLTC range of 520 kilometres. The E6 electric MPV provides a safe and convenient driving experience by offering AC and DC rapid charging, charging from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes.

BYD E6 Features: LED daytime running lights and LED rear combination lamps are among the car's many features. Leather seats and 6-way adjustable driver and front passenger seats are included in the upgraded interior. A rotating 10.1-inch touch screen allows for smooth Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity.

The BYD E6 is the first premium MPV with an electric powertrain in INDIA. It doesn’t have any direct rivals and is very popular among the tour operators. With a real-world range of 400-415 km, it justifies that EVs can be taken on highway drives as well. The spacious cabin, big boot space, and decent feature list make it a compelling choice for an electric powertrain.

What we admire in this car

It's very good in space in the second row.

The touchscreen infotainment is slick and easy to use.

Ride quality is very brilliant since the suspension setup is on the softer side.

Massive boot space of 580L with a completely flat loading area.

The headlights have a good throw at night.

What could have been better

Only available in a 5-seater configuration whereas competition is available in 6-7-seater categories.

Lacks some basic features that you would expect at this price point.

Ground clearance could have been better.
