Design And Engine: Things That Stay The Same

The 2025 Hero Karizma XMR 210 carries forward its bold and sporty design, featuring the same aggressive front fairing and a sleek, uncluttered tail section as before. Mechanically, it remains unchanged, continuing with the 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 25.5 PS at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, now updated to meet OBD-2B compliance. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm front and 230mm rear petal disc setup, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, fitted with a 100-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyres.
Features List

The previous Karizma XMR 210 featured an LCD display that provided essential riding information, along with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS/call notifications. This same LCD unit now finds its place in the Base variant of the Karizma. Meanwhile, the Top variant and the Combat Edition are equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT screen, which also supports Bluetooth-enabled smartphone connectivity, navigation, and message/call alerts. Although both displays show identical information, the only distinction lies in the type of screen used. Apart from this, the feature list remains the same, but there is something notable in the hardware department, more on it in the next point.
Hardware

The major update in the 2025 iteration is the USD inverted front forks in place of the telescopic unit that was rolled out at the launch. However, the Base variant still offers the conventional unit, it is the Top variant and the Combat Edition that offer this new update. Apart from all this, the cycle components remain the same.

Combat Edition To The Mix
The updated iconic bike continues just as it is visually from its last iteration, but now, there is a new Combat Edition with a Grey color tone that now retails at the highest price point. As for the other color options, you have the Iconic Yellow option along with Turbo Red and Phantom Black.
The 2025 Hero Karizma XMR 210 is available in three variants: Base, Top, and Combat Edition. The previous generation XMR 210 now serves as the Base variant, priced at Rs 1,81,400. Positioned above it is the new Top variant, which comes in at Rs 1,99,750. Sitting at the top of the lineup is the Combat Edition, priced at Rs 2,01,500, making it the most premium offering in the Karizma XMR 210 range.
Verdict
Hero is trying to add to the mass appeal of the iconic moniker that has failed to gather the kind of attention thet had hoped for. No question that the bike is pretty well made and scores good on most fronts, it is the availability of a list of choices that is making the sell hard. However, the legacy nameplate keeps the interests alive, making buyers eager to see how it has been ressurected from the past in a new guise.
