2020 Mahindra XUV 300 BS6: Looks and Colour Options
The Mahindra XUV 300 is a very handsome compact SUV. The XUV 300 is a Baby Cheetah as Mahindra says it has a Cheetah-inspired design language. Upfront, it gets a chrome-meshed grille with a subtle amount of chrome and some black inserts. The grille is flanked by sweptback projector headlamps and it gets massive daytime running LEDs to. The LED DRLs extend all the way up to the fog lamps and it gets some amount of chrome horizontally on the bumper too. Overall, the front fascia of the XUV 300 looks really good and it has a great road presence.
Coming to the side profile, one can see that the XUV 300 gets chunky roof-rails and blacked-out C-pillar. It gets a dual-tone paint scheme too which further enhances its appeal. The side profile also houses the stylish machined-cut dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets massive LED taillamps and also an integrated spoiler on the roof. The SUV gets body-cladding all-around and skid plates at the front and the rear to enhance its rugged appeal. The XUV 300 is available in eight different colour options. These are Aquamarine, Pearl White, Sunburst Orange, Red Rage, DSat Silver, Napoli Black and dual-tone Red Rage and Aquamarine.

2020 Mahindra XUV 300 BS6: Engine and Transmission
The Mahindra XUV 300 is offered with both petrol as well as diesel engine options. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo-petrol motor churns out 110 PS of power at 5000 RPM and 200 Nm of torque between 2000-3500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. It also gets a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This diesel motor develops 116 PS of power at 3750 RPM and a whopping 300 Nm of torque between 1500-2500 RPM. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AMT. The XUV 300 will also get an even more powerful 1.2-litre T-GDI petrol engine next year.

The Mahindra XUV 300 gets a feature-loaded cabin and it looks really good. It gets a dual-tone black and beige interior which gives it a premium appeal. Taking the centre stage of the dashboard is a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system is compatible with both Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay connectivity. The XUV 300 is loaded with features up to the brim. The feature list includes a dual-zone climate control system, auto-dimming IRVM, analogue instrument cluster with multi-colour illumination, smartwatch connectivity, an electric sunroof, etc.
The Mahindra XUV 300 is one of the safest cars currently on sale in the Indian market. It has bagged 5-Star rating for adult safety and a 4-Star rating for the child safety in the Global NCAP Crash Test. This compact SUV is loaded with a ton of safety equipment. The safety features include up to 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP with roll-over mitigation, front and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, heated ORVMs, corner braking control, hill start assist, cruise control and many more.

The price of the BS6-compliant Diesel XUV 300 starts at Rs. 8.69 lakhs and fetches all the way up to Rs. 12.69 lakhs. All price stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
