Jeep has been working on the mid-cycle facelift of the 2021 Compass and some images are leaked ahead of unveiling at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Jeep launched a tweaked version of the Compass with a new 1.3-litre turbo engine in the Europen markets but this one is a complete mid-cycle facelift for the 2021 Jeep Compass. There are some subtle changes which are noticeable at first glance and we expect a similar model to get launched in India next year.
Talking about the changes on the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift, we have got a tweaked headlight design which is much sleeker than before. The headlights merge with the tradition 7-slat grille of Jeep and it now comes with a chrome mesh finish. Moreover, the front bumper is changed and gets repositioned fog lamps and air ducts. In flesh, it looks much sleeker than the current model thanks to the sleeker headlights and tweaked grille.

The alloy wheels seen on the leaked images are similar to what we get in the Limited Plus model of the Jeep Compass in India. We expect Jeep to change the alloy wheel design for the Indian market along with some more changes. The rear profile of the facelifted model is more or less similar to the current model and even the taillight design is not changed.
Although we don't have the interior images of the Jeep Compass facelift, some teased images from Jeep give us some idea of equipment. We will see a floating-type 10.1-inch U-Connect infotainment system which may also offer internet connectivity and more, along with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Jeep is also expected to play with the layout of the dashboard and use better quality materials as dual-stitched leather is visible in the teased images. We will finally also see the repositioned engine start/stop button which was placed at the keyhole position till now.

Talking about the powertrains, Jeep India is expected to retain both the 1.4-litre turbo petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines. However, we won't be surprised if Jeep Compass facelift comes with the updated and more fuel-efficient 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. The power output of both the engines will be similar to the current version and the trannies will be similar too. Jeep is expected to launch the 2021 Compass facelift in the Indian market next year and it will bring some updated tech and features. The leaked images of the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift reveal some interesting points ahead of the global unveil which will be happening soon.
