The updated Swift has its own advantage for the mileage where the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine delivers 23.20 kmpl for the manual and the AMT sticks with 23.76 kmpl. However, even with the updated power figure, Swift is not yet powerful. So if you were to choose a powerful petrol engine then the 1.0L peppy turbocharged motor comes to the rescue.

Clearly, the Swift has been updated with all the new features like cruise control, coloured multi-information display, idle start-stop button, auto-foldable ORVMs and the AMT versions of the hatchback gets electronic stability control and hill hold. It continues with the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
On the other hand, the interiors of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios looks fresh and gives a premium feel because of the dual-tone colour scheme. It also gets a bigger 8.0-inch touchscreen, rear AC vents, rear wiper and defogger, wireless charging and others. The Nios gets an edge over the features when compared with the new Swift.
