Citroen India has started the bookings of their upcoming product, 2022 C3 and the pre-bookings are valid till July 19th. The official launch of the Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis rival is scheduled for July 20th, 2022. However, ahead of its launch, the prices of the same have been leaked on the internet and it ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Here's a look at variant-wise pricing of the C3

What's interesting is that it is Citroen's second try to win at the Indian market and if the prices are yet again high like it happened with the C5 Aircross, the C3 could face low sales. This upcoming car not only competes with Maruti Ignis and Tata Punch but also some trims of the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Hyundai Venue.
Citroen C3 will be made available in two variants only - Live and Feel. Once launched, the car will be available with over 70 accessories and will come with four accessory packs. The C3 will be offered with four monotone and six dual-tone colour options. There will be two interior colour options with the upcoming car - Anodized Grey and Anodized Orange.
Under the hood, C3 will be powered by two engine options - 1.2L non-turbo petrol and 1.2L turbocharged petrol motor. The former generates as much as 81 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 115 Nm. The turbocharged petrol belts out peak power and torque of 109 bhp and 190 Nm respectively. The non-turbo petrol gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the turbo petrol is mated to a six-speed stick shift. There is no automatic transmission on offer as of now.
The C3 is equipped with a 10.-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster and also gets 315 litres of boot space which is quite useful for long road trips from a car of this size.

However, Citroen C3 misses out on features like alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, lack of automatic gearbox, automatic climate control and many more. The French carmaker can only make right of the C3 launch by bringing it at a competitive price.
