Xpulse 200T 4V Details
The new model has received some necessary design changes. It has not been a favorite as its sibling Xpulse 200 4V ADV in the market. However, the updated design is to change this fact. The front now gets a low placement for the headlight along with a cowl attached to it. The headlight is also retrieved from the Xpulse ADV. Additionally, the front forks get a gaiter kit for protection purposes. It also gets a small flyscreen which is painted the same as that of the body colour.
Speaking of the colours, it is going to be available in 3 paint shade options. These will include - Matte Shield Gold, Sports Red, & Lime Green. All of three colours will be available in the dual-tone shade with black colour to contrast. Moving to the other updates, it gets a tubular pillion grab handle now. The graphics are also new and look exciting on the bike. The features list includes of the same TFT digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
However, the engine is now revised as it now gets 4 valves. This means the top-end performance will now be enhanced. The 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine makes a peak power of 18.8 bhp & 17.35 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Now, due to the use of the 4 valves, the engine can perform much better with a punch toward the redline.
Verdict
With the official teaser out and official images also leaked, we suspect the launch is near. By that, Hero can possibly launch in the coming weeks in India. However, expect the pricing to rise by a minimal amount due to added changes. In India, its rivals include - Honda CB 200X, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, & TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
