Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) unveiled the fourth generation Tucson in the Indian market in July. Now, the brand has launched and revealed the prices of its premium SUV in the Indian market. The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is launched at an introductory starting price of Rs 27.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tucson SUV comes with an all-new design and a plethora of new features. The Tucson will be sold across the nation through Hyundai's signature outlets. The 2022 Hyundai Tucson locks horns with Jeep Compass, VW Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross SUVs.

If we discuss the SUV's design, the brand's new global design language touts the beauty of the vehicle. A new dark chrome parametric front grille with built-in LED DRLs with vertically positioned LED headlamps are added at the front. It sports 235/60 R18 diamond cut alloy wheels on the side, broadside cladding, and aggressive wheel arches. Hyundai has strategically positioned its logo at the back is integrated in the rear windscreen, and the rear wiper is artfully hidden under the spoiler and rear stop lamp.
2022 Hyundai Tucson Engine
The fourth-gen Hyundai Tucson is available with two different engine options from the manufacturer: a 2.0-liter diesel engine and a 2.0-liter petrol engine. 184 bhp of power and 416 Nm of peak torque are produced by the former, while 154 bhp and 192 Nm of peak torque are produced by the latter. While the petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed torque converter, the diesel engine is connected to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There are two variants of the Hyundai Tucson in 2022: Platinum and Signature. Both models will be available with diesel and petrol engines. Additionally, HTRAC 4WD is an option for the diesel engine is available with the Signature trim.

The Tucson comes with a plethora of high-end features. The Tucson has a 10-way power adjustable driver seat, an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat, a height-adjustable hands-free smart power tailgate, driver seat memory functionality, reclining rear seats, and heated and ventilated front seats. A 10.25-inch HD audio video navigation system, a floating-type digital cluster, Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology, a Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers, 64-color ambient lighting, and other amenities are included.

If we talk about the safety features of the newly launched Tucson, both the Platinum and Signature trims are well equipped. In comparison to the Platinum model's over 45 standard safety features, customers of the Signature variation will receive more than 60 safety features. The Signature trim also comes with Level-2 ADAS, which offers additional safety features like surround and blind view monitors, smart cruise control, lane keeping assistance, driver attention alert, forward collision warning, blind-spot collision warning, and other ADAS features.

The 2.0-litre petrol line-up will be available in 2 variations, the first of which is the Platinum AT trim variant costs Rs 27,69,700 (ex-showroom). The Signature AT 2.0-litre petrol variant costs Rs 30,17,000 (ex-showroom).
The 2.0-liter diesel engine, on the other hand, will be available in 3 variations, with the Platinum AT variant priced at Rs 30,19,700 (ex-showroom). The price of The Signature AT is Rs 32,87,000 (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line Signature AT 4WD is priced at Rs 34,39,000 (ex-showroom).
