Maruti launched the 2022 Brezza from Rs 7.99 lakh for the base trim, LXI, to Rs 13.96 lakh for the top-of-the-line, ZXI+ Dual-Tone. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. What's interesting is that the compact SUV got launched on June 30th and even before its official launch, the pre-bookings of the new Brezza reached over 45,000 mark.
Mechanically, the new Brezza gets a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, dual-jet, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This is the same as found in XL6 and Ertiga. It generates as much as 102 bhp of power with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard and a six-speed torque converter automatic as an option.
The new Brezza measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,685 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2500 mm. When compared with the 2022 Venue, the Brezza is wider by 20 mm and gets a ground clearance of 68 mm. In addition to this, the height too of the Brezza has now gone up than the pre-lift version. The height of the older Brezza measured 1,640 mm.

Feature-wise, the Brezza has now gained some modern equipment to lock horns with rivals. It now gets a 360-view camera, head-up display, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, rake and reach adjustment for the steering wheel, LED projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and among more.
Safety equipment on the new Brezza includes six airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, front seat-belt reminder, speed-sensing door locks, a high-speed alert system, hill-hold assist and more.

The all-new 2022 Maruti Brezza is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Yes, the prices have been increased from the older version but so has the list of features and safety equipment. It rivals Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
