After a long wait, Maruti Suzuki has finally introduced Swift CNG in the Indian market. It is priced from Rs 7.77 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi and this hatchback is available in two variants only. Both the cars are equipped with a 1.2L, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor with CNG as an alternate fuel. In CNG mode, Swift produces peak power and torque of 76 bhp and 98.5 Nm, respectively. On the other hand, the Grand i10 Nios generates 72 bhp of power with a healthy torque of 95 Nm.
Both the hatchbacks are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and there's no automatic as an option on offer. The ARAI-certified mileage of Swift CNG sticks to 30.90 km/kg while that of Grand i10 Nios CNG is 28 km/kg.
2022 Maruti Swift CNG vs Hyundai Grand i10 Nios - Price and Warranty
Maruti offers the Swift CNG with two variants only - VXI and ZXI. The prices for the same stick to Rs 7.77 lakh and Rs 8.45 lakh, respectively. The carmaker provides the Swift CNG with 2 years or 40,000 km warranty, whichever is at the earliest.

On the other hand, Hyundai offers the Grand i10 Nios with three variants - Magna, Sportz and Asta. The prices for the CNG hatchback range from Rs 7.16 lakh to Rs 8.45 lakh. All prices mentioned here stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. Hyundai offers a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty with the Grand i10 Nios CNG.
