The Renault Kiger is one of the most affordable compact SUVs in the Indian market and takes on the rivals like the Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and the Mahindra XUV300. Having said this, the brand launched the new 2022 Renault Kiger in the Indian market with a host of updates that make it an even better purchase than before. With the 2022 Renault Kiger price starting from Rs 5.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), here are all the details that you should know.
For starters, the new 2022 Kiger will now be offered with PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter as a standard feature across the line-up while other features like wireless smartphone charging, cruise control, etc will also be on offer now. A new interior colour harmony featuring a new red fade dashboard accent and quilted emboss seat upholstery with red stitching will be now available with the Kiger. Other updates include a new colour option of metal mustard with a mystery black roof, a new tailgate chrome insert, front skid plate, TURBO door decals, and Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.

The brand has also updated the KIGER RXT(O) variant and this will variant will now be offered with a 1.0-L Turbo petrol engine that can be had with a manual gearbox as well as an X-TRONIC CVT transmission. This engine also boasts a best-in-segment fuel economy figure of 20.5 kmpl. On the safety front, the Kiger comes with a long list of safety features and also scored a 4-star safety rating for adult occupant safety by Global NCAP. Safety features include four airbags, seatbelts pre-tensioner, load-limiter, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts, etc.
The booking for the 2022 Renault Kiger commenced on 31st March 2022 in the Indian market while the car is available in five trim options. The 2022 Renault Kiger price starts from INR 5.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant.
