Renault has hiked the prices of the 2022 Kwid and it is now more expensive than before. It is their entry-level hatchback that rivals the popular Maruti Alto 800, Alto K10 and S-Presso. In this article, we will be sharing the latest variant-wise prices of the same.
Renault offers Kwid with two engine options - 0.8L and 1.0L. Both are three-cylinder naturally aspirated units.

The 0.8-L motor is a three-cylinder unit that belts out as much as 53 bhp of power with 72 Nm of peak torque. It only gets mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard. Its rival, Maruti Alto 800 is also offered with CNG as an alternate fuel but Kwid is offered with a petrol motor only ever since it was first launched in the Indian market.

This 1.0-litre, three-pot motor produces 67 bhp of power with a peak torque of 91 Nm. It gets mated to a five-speed stick shift as standard and AMT as an option. The ARAI certified mileage of the same sticks to 21.7 kmpl for the manual and 22 kmpl for the AMT.
