Toyota brought in the facelifted 2022 Glanza at an introductory price of just Rs 6.39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. With this, Toyota also brought in two new variants with the Glanza, E which is the new base trim and S which is the second to base variant. In this article, we will be sharing the features of the 2022 Toyota Glanza base variant E and discuss if it is value for money or not!
The base E variant of the 2022 Toyota Glanza is similar to that of the Sigma variant of the Nexa Baleno. At the front, the grille now gets chrome treatment and so does the fog lights with the C-shaped style chrome design. However, fog lights are missing from this trim.
Moving towards the side profile, you do get indicators on the fenders, wheel covers, black outside rearview mirrors and door handles. The 2022 Baleno gets body-coloured ORVMs and door handles but misses out on the wheel covers. It only gets steel wheels. This Insta Blue shade really looks great on the Glanza.

Toyota Glanza is powered by a 1.2L, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated DualJet petrol motor. This engine churns out 89 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 113 Nm. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and also comes paired to an optional AMT unit.
