The 2022 Toyota Glanza has been finally launched at an introductory price of Rs 6.39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, and in this article, we compare the new vs old price list of the premium hatchback. This new and updated 2022 Toyota Glanza is now offered in four variants compared to only two that were available in the older model.

Do note that the base G variant of the pre-lift Glanza used to come with two engine options and the base 1.2L NA was priced at Rs 7.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The G CVT, V MT and V CVT got 1.2L NA engine only that produced 82 bhp of power on tap.

As can be seen from the table, there are two new variants offered in the 2022 Glanza and those are E and S. E variant is the same as the Sigma variant of the Maruti Baleno while the S trim co-relates with the Delta variant of the Baleno. The top of the line V variant with an AMT unit is priced at Rs 9.69 lakh compared to Rs 9.65 lakh V CVT offered in the older model.
Mechanically, this new Glanza is offered with a 1.2L DualJet petrol motor only. This four-cylinder, naturally aspirated motor churns out as much as 89 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 113 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed stick shift as standard and also gets an optional AMT unit. The ARAI certified fuel economy for the manual transmission sticks to 22.3 kmpl while for the AMT it is 22.9 kmpl.
