Yamaha India launched the new 2022 FZS25 in the Indian market and now offers updated colour options in addition to a few other small updates. The Yamaha FZ25 and FZS 25 take on the rivals like the Bajaj pulsar N250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250. After the launch of the updated 2022 Yamaha FZS25, the Japanese brand is now expected to launch the new-gen version of the MT-15. Here are all the details that you should know about the updated 2022 FZS25.
For starters, the new FZS25 is now available with two new colour options that include the Matte Copper and Matte Black colour shade. In addition to this, the brand has also updated the colour options for the FZ25. The FZ25 will now get racing blue and metallic black colour shades. The 2022 Yamaha FZS25 price starts from INR 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the FZ25 on the other hand is priced from INR 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Except for the new colour options, no major cosmetic changes have been made to these quarter-litre offerings from Yamaha.
Having said this, the bikes continue to offer a sporty appeal and the new colour options have helped in improving the road presence. The bikes also get new copper-coloured alloy wheels that contrast well with the updated colour offerings. The bikes get a 249cc engine that churns out 20.5 bhp and 20.1 Nm of peak torque output. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and boasts a commendable low-end grunt and refinement. The suspension setup consists of telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear.
On the features front, the bikes get all LED lights, negative LCD instrument console, engine cut-off switch, engine kill switch, etc. In addition to this, the bikes also offer other features like dual-channel ABS, dual disc brakes, fuel injection, etc.
