Check out the pictures to know how the black edition complements this giant SUV. The video of this was uploaded on YouTube Channel YD Car Reviews.
MG Gloster Goes Stealth
With this edition, MG Gloster puts a stealthier version forward. Not only it has been blacked out from the roof to its wheels, but it also gets complementing red accents for a bolder footprint, not that the SUV is compact in any sense. But the complete black impression does accentuate the bolder appeal of the SUV. If you feel that glossy black is too flashy, you can also opt for the matte paint option as well.

There are subtle elements like this red creasing inside the LED headlamps, that look very nice at the front than just the empty regular ones. This combined with a red colored strip running on the lower bumper and blacked-out nose grille, gives it a more premium aesthetic.
Coming to the rear, it still gets a chrome strip with a chromed-out MG logo. But a similar red strip can be found running along the rear bumper as well. However, you can notice the internet inside and the MG Gloster badging is now blacked out with red accents. The rear has a balance of chrome and black.
The interiors have an all-black treatment as well but with red inserts at some points. The stitching of the black leather-wrapped steering with red looks complements the overall theme. However, the regular SUV gets a tan leather interior, that looks quite premium as well.
No Change In Mechanicals
Under the hood, everything remains the same as before. There are 2 engine options available, 2,0-litre turbo diesel and a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel. The turbo unit makes 161 PS and 373.5 Nm. The twin-turbo puts out 215.5 PS and 478.5 Nm. Both engines are mated to an 8AT gearbox. MG Gloster comes with a 4״ system and 7 terrain modes namely Snow, Sand, Mud, Rock, Sports, Auto, and Eco.
VERDICT- Jumping on the bandwagon of black editions is the MG Gloster. With the red and black combination, it will attract more prospective buyers that were looking for an all-black SUV. On other occasions, various carmakers have launched a dark edition to keep the excitement alive.
