2023 Tata Nexon Facelift Headlight Design - Inspired By Curvv Concept?
As visible in the latest photos, the fully camouflaged car has the production-sped lights fitted. In fact, the DRL side design is clearly visible which is very different from the current model. The DRLs have multiple stripes of LED stretched out towards the fender. Meanwhile, it is going to get LED headlights which are positioned into the bumper. That'll make it the first-ever Tata car to get LED headlights as well.
Additionally, it'll get the Curvv concept-inspired design on the outside as well as on the inside. The front fascia will be completely revised with a new bumper and new lights. At the rear, it'll get new LED taillights with a connected LED brake light bar on the boot. Also, visible in the spy shots, are the new set of alloy wheels.
On the inside, we saw a test mule equipped with a new dashboard and a new two-spoke steering wheel. The interesting part is the addition of a screen on the horn pad area of the steering wheel. There'll be no physical controls for HVAC and infotainment on the new Nexon. Pneumatic touch is what Tata will use to operate the controls on the inside. Under the hood, its 1.2-lt TGDi petrol engine shall get a new 6-speed DCT transmission. Also, the diesel and EV powertrains are likely to remain the same.
Verdict
The new Nexon facelift is expected to debut by the end of September in India. Tata has plans to revamp its complete SUV lineup ahead of the upcoming Diwali festival. The new Nexon will not only get new features and design but it'll also get considerably expensive. We expect a price hike of up to Rs 1 lakh when compared with the current model. However, we can't be sure of any detail until Tata officially speaks out.
