One of the world's best-selling cars and the only sedan in Toyota's India lineup, the all new Camry was spotted testing in the country under heavy camouflage. The Toyota Camry feels like an anomaly in the Indian automotive sector, but in the rest of the world, it is known as one of the most reliable and best-selling vehicles.
As we know, it is famous for its impressive mileage of 19 to 20 kmpl, and I believe it was undergoing an ARAI mileage test here. Let's learn more about this news in detail. In the meantime, make sure to join the 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel to never miss out on automotive updates!

2025 Toyota Camry (XV80)
These spy shots are of the ninth generation Toyota Camry, which will replace the XV70 model. The images didnt reveal much due to the protective covers, but I know how this luxury sedan will look and what its specifications will be. So, let's check them out!
First of all, this is a hybrid sedan that combines a 2.5L petrol engine with two electric motors to produce a total power output of 225 HP and 160 Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels. Most likely, the ninth generation Camry will launch in India with these engine specifications. Internationally, this sedan is available in several variants and also offers an AWD setup.
2025 Toyota Camry (XV80) Design
Talking about the design, it's not so different from outgoing model, and anybody with just one glance will notice that it is an Camry. That said, the front is all new with giant grille and a nose tip that creates the space for the all new LED headlights which incorporates C shape LED DRLs.
The side profile hasnt changed at all, and the same type of treatment has been applied to the rear end, featuring a new set of bumpers and taillights. I believe it's fair to call this a facelift, but we might receive a notice from Toyota regarding this.
2025 Toyota Camry (XV80) Features
The interior design has changed a little but doesn't seem completely different from the current generation. Regarding features, a 12.3-inch infotainment system will be included, which will be a significant upgrade from the 9-inch display that looks quite outdated. Other features will be powered driver seats with memory function and powered co-passenger seat. Wireless connectivity is a sure thing, plus, this sedan will get three zone climate control. Two at the front and one for rear passengers where the owners will actually sit.

Verdict
Let's talk about the expected price, which will be between Rs 45 to 50 lakh in India. Only one variant will be offered, and a total of 13 color options will be available to customers, including four dual-tone paints. Additionally, this is a very niche car in India, and its only competitor, the Skoda Superb, also sells in low figures. People who own the Camry typically have several other cars and may also consider the German luxury car segment. Even if just five units are sold each month, Toyota will be happy because it certifies that sedans are not completely dead in India.
