Bajaj Pulsar NS 400 Price Will Be Rs 2 Lakh?
As per the latest online reports, the upcoming Pulsar 400 will be positioned at an aggressive price fo Rs 2 lakh. Moreover, it'll share the engine and other mechanical parts with its sibling bike Dominar 400. The design and colour options of it have already leaked online. It will get a brand-new LED headlight with a unique DRL design. A digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity will also be offered.
Features list will include all-LED lights, an LCD digital console, four ride modes, dual-channel ABS, turn-by-turn navigation, and probably multiple levels of ABS as well. As far as the riding modes are concerned, Bajaj will offer Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road options. These will alter the ECU maps, power, and throttle inputs of the bike to tackle difficult situations.
Engine is going to be the same 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit as we see on the Dominar 400. It is a reliable and powerful engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission. It also gets a slipper clutch for a better riding experience. We suspect, that the Pulsar being a city-oriented bike, will get an aggressive tuning of this engine. Power figures will hover around 39.4 bhp and 35Nm of peak torque. The hardware includes a 43mm USD front suspension, preload adjustable rear monoshock, a 320mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake.
Pricing it at Rs 2 lakh will undercut its direct rivals including the Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310, and the KTM 390 Duke.
