BYD Atto 3 is all set to be launched tomorrow and it will be the most affordable product from the Chinese carmaker. Just recently, they privatised their flagship product, the e6 and deliveries too of the same are happening. In this article, we share all the things about their recent product, Atto 3.
The Atto 3 focuses on MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. Dimension-wise, it measures 4455 mm in length, 1875 mm in width, 1615 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2720 mm. Its competitor, MG ZS EV, measures 4323 mm in length, 1809 mm in width, 1649 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2581 mm. Hyundai Kona EV gets a wheelbase of 2600 mm which is better than the MG ZS EV, however, in terms of length, width and height, Kona EV falls short.
As of now, there's no clarity on the battery packs of the Atto 3. We expect that the carmaker will bring both the battery packs - 49.92 kWh and the bigger, 60.49 kWh. The latter provides a driving range of 420 km while the smaller battery packs gets a range of just 345 km.

The Atto 3 uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor that pumps out a peak power and torque of 201 bhp and 310 Nm, respectively. This upcoming SUV can be fully charged in just 60 minutes, thanks to the 60kW DC fast charger. The Atto 3 can also be charged via the Type 2 and 3-pin AC chargers too. Performance-wise, 0 to 100kmph sprint is achieved in just 7.3 seconds.
Feature-wise, Atto 3 gets a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, a 360-degree camera and more.
