The BYD eMAX 7, a facelift of the e6, has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 26.90 lakh, with the top trim costing Rs 29.90 lakh. It is the same 7-seater electric MPV we previously knew as the BYD e6, now with a new name. Available in two variants, Premium and Superior, it offers the option of a 6-seater or the standard 7-seater, and this is the third launch from BYD this year.

BYD eMAX 7 Price
It comes in two variants, Premium and Superior, with the option of either a 7-seat or 6-seat configuration. BYD has set a very competitive price, keeping it below the 30 lakh mark. Now, let's check out the price of each configuration:

BYD eMAX 7 Battery Pack
As mentioned above, the eMAX 7 is available in two variants: Premium and Superior, each equipped with different battery packs. The Premium model features a 55.4 kWh battery pack that produces 163 PS and 310 Nm of torque. Most importantly, this battery pack offers a range of 420 km (according to NEDC testing). Additionally, this model utilizes BYD's in-house Blade Battery, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds.
The second variant, Superior, features a 71.8 kWh battery pack that delivers 203 PS and 310 Nm of torque, offering an impressive range of 530 km (according to NEDC testing). Additionally, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, while the top speed remains the same as before at 180 km/h.
Lastly, this electric vehicle supports VTOL (Vehicle To Load Technology) function, and portable charging cable. Plus, the booking amount of this vehcile is set at Rs 51,000, which also includes 6 years of road side assistance, 7 kWh home charger and installation of the charger along with 1 complimentary inspection service.
