The Citroen C3 will soon be launched in the Indian market and will take on the small, entry-level SUVs. While the brand is yet to officially announce the pricing of the Citroen C3, the made-in-India Citreon C3 was recently spotted in Chennai. Having said this, the images of the Citroen C3 interior surfaced online, thus giving us a hint of what to expect from this new offering in the Indian market. Read to check all the details.
The leaked images suggest that the C3 will boast similar interiors and exterior design language to what we saw during the official unveiling in September last year. The pictures reveal a large touch-screen infotainment system thus suggesting that the higher variants of the C3 will be heavily loaded with a long list of features. Moving on, we also see quirky air-con vents in the centre while the dash at the front features a dimpled effect. A mobile holder is also visible near the central air-con vents.

Other important observations include large and usable cup-holder and bottle holders in the centre console and door trims respectively. Other nifty storage spaces too are available inside the cabin. Having said this, the Honda C3 will be the first of the three models to be sold in India under the brand's C-Cubed programme and is specifically developed for developing markets including India and South America. The C3 will be made in India with over 90 per cent localisation.
The C3 will be based on the CMF modular platform and is expected to be offered with a 1.2-L turbo-petrol engine that will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. An automatic gearbox may also be offered with the C3. Once launched in the country, the C3 will take on the rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger.
