Early in the year, Citroen introduced the electric version of the C3, a B-segment hatchback. The manufacturer began accepting bookings for the eC3, although they have not yet disclosed the pricing. The brand has now begun offering eC3 test drives to customers, and we anticipate the prices to come in the upcoming weeks. The Citroen eC3 EV is brand's first electric vehicle in the Indian market. Two models of the new Citroen eC3 will be available: Live and Feel.

Citroen eC3
The upcoming Citroen eC3 looks identical to its ICE model. The electric hatchback's interior has similar features and a similar design scheme as the ICE variant. The eC3 comes equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, connected automobile technology, driving modes, theater-style seating, high-sitting positions, and other technical elements. toggle switch for the swift mode and a digital instrument cluster with a battery percentage and range indicator are among the changes made specifically for the eC3. The insertion of a charging outlet on the front fender is one of the cosmetic alterations made specifically for EV variant.
A permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum output of 143 Nm and 57 bhp is combined with a 29.2 kWh battery pack for this vehicle. The electric hatchback from Citroen has an ARAI-certified electric driving range of 320 kilometres. The hatch can go from 0 to 60 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107 km/h. In terms of charging time, using DC quick charging, the battery pack can be charged from 10% to 80% in roughly 57 minutes. On the other hand a standard 15AMP plug point charges in about 10.5 hours.

Verdict: The Citroen eC3 EV is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 10 to 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a direct rival to the Tata Tiago EV. Citroen is aiming the eC3 for the private as well as fleet owners who want electric vehicles in their fleets.
