Several automakers hiked the price of their offerings in April 2022, and now Force Motors has quietly raised the price of its off-roader Gurkha 4x4 SUV. The Gurkha now costs Rs 14.49 lakh. The price has risen by Rs 39,000, making the SUV more expensive than its primary competitor, the Mahindra Thar Diesel MT.
The Force Gurkha comes with a 2.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine produces 90 bhp at 3200 RPM and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1400 RPM. This engine is exclusively paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Despite being an off-roader, the new Gurkha has a more refined interior than its predecessor. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, front power windows, and a multi-info display in a single fully-loaded three-door variant. Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system for safety.
A low-range transmission, snorkel, and manual-locking (front and rear) differentials are among the Gurkha's off-road features.

Force Motors is also working on a five-door Gurkha, and test mules have been spotted several times. The 5-door Gurkha's design is comparable to that of the normal variants, and the SUV has an essentially identical front fascia. The addition of two extra doors, a longer wheelbase, and a larger footprint are the only significant changes. However, this version of the Gurkha is believed to keep the same headlamps, front grille, steel wheels, and tail lamps as the previous one.
