Hero Motocorp unveiled a special edition of its Karizma XMR 210 on Republic Day. The brand has unveiled the Karizma XMR 210 Combat Edition via its social media platform, and this special edition's prices are expected to come out in a few days. The upcoming Karizma XMR 210 Combat Edition will be the second two-wheeler in the Hero lineup to get a Combat Edition. Read the details of the upcoming Karizma Edition below. The newly unveiled Combat Edition gets a Matte Shadow Grey colour and new grey-colored body graphics. The special edition will also get Combat Edition badging, but other body elements will remain the same as the regular variant. The new Shadow Grey colour complements the motorcycle's sporty aesthetics.

The Karizma XMR Combat Edition will get the same golden USD forks at the front, blacked-out alloy wheels, bronze colour treatment on the engine casing, and black panels on the fuel tank among other design highlights. The new edition will not get any enhancement on the features front, it will continue to get a coloured LCD instrument console, auto LED projector headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity with navigation support, dual-channel ABS, and an adjustable windscreen, among other features.

If we talk about the engine specifications, the Karizma XMR 210 is powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled engine producing 25.5 PS of power and 20.5 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox aided with a slipper and assist clutch. Other hardware components include a 300 mm front disc, a 220 mm rear disc brake, 17-inch alloy wheels, 37mm USD front forks, and the rear gets a gas-charged monoshock absorber with 6-step preload adjustment.

Verdict

Hero Motocorp has not yet revealed the launch timeline of the new Hero Karizma XMR 210 Combat Edition, but we expect it to be launched in the coming days. This special edition is expected to be launched at a premium of Rs 8,000 to 10,000 as compared to the regular edition. It will continue to compete with the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, KTM RC 200 and other similarly priced motorcycles.
