Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler: India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Motocorp is making efforts to make its premium portfolio stronger. The brand recently showcased breathtaking products such as the Karizma XMR 250 and Xpulse 210. The company has recently filed and got the Mavrick 440 Scrambler name trademarked which hints at the arrival of the Scrambler version of the Mavrick 440. The upcoming motorcycle is expected to feature an all new design language and a differently tuned engine as well. Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler
The currently available Mavrick 440 is essentially a combination of roadster and a retro motorycle. It hasn't taken place in a particular niche/segment to be differentiated as a bike to serve a specific purpose. The model has also not helped the brand to boost its sales as well. Taking note of this, Hero might be thinking to come up with a product that is aimed to cater a specific audience/customer which a premium bike buyers needs at the end.
The Mavrick 440 Scrambler will be brand's first product to land into the scrambler category. Earlier, we got the design patents of the Mavrick 440 Scrambler and now we have the copy of trademark filing that finalize the name of the upcoming model.
Hero Mavrick 440: What's New?
The Mavrick 440 Scrambler is expected to be an altogether different product in terms of design. It might get a new fly screen and a new handlebar to exude a proper scrambler vibe. Additionally, the model could feature fork gaiters on RSU telescopic forks and new set of alloy wheels with a dual-tone finish. There will be some tweaks in the patten of tank shrouds and side panels on the scrambler version. The motorycle will also have a higher ground clerance than the standard Mavrick 440.
Powertrain
The Hero Mavrick 440 will be powered by the same 440cc engine on offer with the standard Mavrick. There are expectations that the brand will re-tune the unit for better performance. On the current Mavrick 440, this powerhouse generates 27 bhp and 36 Nm.
