Honda Amaze is one of the most popular sub-4 meter sedans in India, but somehow it was getting low sales numbers as compared to its rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire & Tata Tigor. Now, addressing the issue Honda has installed a CNG kit in the Amaze at dealer level. The brand is not officially promoting it, but a Honda Amaze with a CNG kit has been seen at a dealer showroom.
The Honda Amaze CNG is available at an additional cost of Rs 78,000 for the CNG kit. The CNG kit boasts a 60-litre cylinder and the CNG filling point is located in the petrol filling compartment. The benefit of the company-fitted CNG kit is, that it does not void the warranty of the vehicle. The Amaze CNG comes with the same 3-year warranty as the regular variant, whereas the CNG kit has a 1-year warranty and the cylinder is covered with a 20-year warranty.
The CNG indicator is placed in the center console near the 12V power socket and the customers can get the CNG kit fitted in any variant they want. The brand has not officially mentioned the availability of Amaze CNG on the website or any platform.
