Hyundai Creta EV Launch By January 2025
The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV is one of the most anticipated launched by the South Korean automaker, While the market slowly opens up to the adoption of EVs, models like Tata Nexon, MG ZS EV, Punch EV., and others are already clocking decent sales. However, a large number of prospective ECV buyers are eyeing the launch of Creta in its electric avatar.
Now, according to some online reports, the Hyundai Creta EV is all set for a January 2025 launch. Interestingly, the production will begin locally by the end of 2024. already spied on multiple occasions, the Creta EV gets the design in line with the facelifted model. Hyundai Creta EV: Range
The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV will be offered in multiple variants. A small 45 kWh battery-equipped variant could offer a range of up to 300km whereas there is a long-range variant on the cards as well. Rumour Mill suggests a bigger 55-60 kWh battery option that will offer a range of around 500 km on a single charge. This extended range version is expected to lure more customers as it addresses the range anxiety to a good extent. Hyundai's debut mass-market EV in India will adopt the electric motor from the base model of the latest Kona Electric released internationally. This front-mounted motor is anticipated to deliver approximately 138hp and 255Nm of torque.
The anticipated starting price is expected to be around Rs. 20 lakhs where it will rival other EVs like Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400 EV, and more.
