Hyundai Creta EV Spied: Major Details Unearthed
While everyone knows about the electric Hyundai Creta coming soon, it has been spied on numerous occasions in the past. The pre-facelift versions were already spotted before, but the facelifted version has now made its appearance on a couple of occasions already. From the side profile, it can be seen docked to the charging booth with the power socket placed at the front grille. The silhouette exactly mimics the facelifted model, however with a few greener tweaks.
You can notice the EV-specific wheel design which is inclined towards reducing the air drag, ultimately resulting in a better. On top of this, the front grille will be closed as is the case with EVs, and could carry an EV badging at both front and rear. With the engine missing, the engine bay could house a 'frunk', with ample storage space.
Interior And Features
In terms of interior and features, it will mimic the Creta facelift in the layout and the tech list. You can expect new upholstery, along with features like a fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, dual-zome auto ac, front-row ventilated seats, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, and more. Additionally, the instrument console will display essential battery and range statistics.

Battery And Range
Coming to its battery and range, the Creta EV will be offered in 2 variants and could offer an extended range of up to 500 km on a single charge. We have learned in the past that it will feature a 45 kWh battery with a range of around 250-300 km. The long-range version may feature a battery pack of about 55-60 kWh capacity.
Upon its arrival, it will lock horns with the likes of Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400 EV, and others in the segment. Expect the Creta EV to hit our shores somewhere around the fourth quarter of 2024.
Verdict
Hyundai is looking to make a move furhter the popular EV space with the iconic Creta moniker. After the N-Line launch, it is the next link in a comprehensive portfolio under Creta's umbrella. Upon its arrival, it is sure to sway a large chunk of EV buyers towards itself.
