The Indian SUV and compact-SUV industry is booming, and automakers are revising their models to keep them fresh in customer's minds. The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular compact SUVs in India, and it received its last update in 2020, the car is due for an update in 2022. Hyundai has quietly updated the Creta SX trim with a new instrument cluster recently.
The new instrument console is borrowed from the top-spec SX (O) trim in the current upgrade. Previously, the Hyundai Creta SX had an analogue instrument display, which was also found in the other lower-spec models. The Car Show published a video of the new feature added by the carmaker to the Creta SX trim.

This is the only improvement made by the Korean carmaker to the Creta SX. Some amenities that are only available in the top-spec SX (O) model of the Hyundai Creta SX are still lacking, such as auto-dimming IRVMs, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, and so on.
The Creta SX comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, an air purifier, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other features. ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, ISOFIX child mounts, dual-front airbags, hill start assist, and park assist are all standard safety features.

A 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.4-litre turbo GDi petrol engine are all available in the Hyundai Creta SX trim. The Creta's 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. A CVT automatic transmission is offered on the 1.5-litre petrol engine, while the diesel engine has a 6-speed torque converter gearbox. On the other hand, the turbocharged petrol engine is available with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
Hyundai Creta is available in six trim levels: E, EX, S, SX Executive, SX, and SX(O), with prices ranging from Rs 10.23 lakh to Rs 17.85 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Creta may receive a facelift by the end of 2022.
