With the sale of 50,000 units of the Nexon EV, Tata Motors has achieved another significant milestone, the Nexon EV is India's best selling electric car at the moment. The 50,000th unit of the Nexon EV was delivered to N Chandrasekan, Chairman of the Tata Group. The sale of electric vehicles has increased significantly in India, and the Tata Nexon EV has helped the brand climb to the top of the list of electric cars sales in India. The company currently offers three electric vehicles (EVs) for sale in its personal car lineup: the Nexon EV, the Tigor EV, and the recently introduced Tiago EV with deliveries stating in January 2023.

Tata Nexon EV
The two primary Nexon EV variants under which several trims are subdivided are the Tata Nexon Prime and Nexon EV Max. The Nexon EV Prime's 30.2 kWh battery pack has a 127 bhp fof power output and a peak torque and power output of 245 Nm. The Nexon EV Max features a 40.5 kWh battery with a maximum motor output of 141 bhp of power and 250 Nm. While the latter can travel up to 437 kilometres on a single charge, the former has a stated range of 312 kilometres.
On the features front, the Nexon EV has an electric sunroof, wireless charging, an air purifier, all-disc brakes, ventilated seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, an electronic parking brake, a rotary gear selector with a digital display, and ESP as standard equipment. It also has a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Upcoming Tata Motors Cars In Auto Expo
New Tata Safari and Harrier facelifts, new EV ideas, and alternative fuel vehicles are also slated for the event's 2023 iteration. In the forthcoming auto show, we may anticipate the brand to display the Punch EV, Curvv & Avinya EV concepts.

Verdict: Following the debut of the Punch in EV form, Tata Motors will be able to provide electric vehicles in every market category. The Tata Nexon EV is now the most popular electric vehicle in India, but Mahindra will soon give it serious competition after the introduction of its major challenger, the XUV400 electric.
