To comply with the new BS-VI Phase II emission requirements, Isuzu Motors India upgraded the whole lineup of pick-up trucks and SUVs. By introducing new features to a few models, the brand has updated its product line and improved styling, safety, comfort, efficiency, and emission control. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z 4x2 AT model now has a higher level of style. Valencia Orange, a striking new shade, has been added to the colour pallet for the D-Max V-Cross personal vehicle lineup.

Isuzu D-Max Updates
To efficiently handle the treatment of the exhaust gases and particulate matter, Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab and S-CAB models come with A-SCR (Active Selective Catalyst Reduction) added to the set of After Treatment Devices including LNT (Lean NOx Trap) and DPD (Diesel Particulate Diffuser). The only cars in the segment featuring an electronically controlled Hot & Cold EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) for the best treatment management are the Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab and S-CAB.
In order to display the DPD (Diesel Particulate Diffuser) indication and sub-menu to indicate "Level," Automatic Regeneration, or notify the driver for manual 'Regeneration' operation, both the models and their variants now come with Advanced MID (Multi-Information Display) cluster with Silver Inserts. A new submenu displays the fuel range to empty, instant/average mileage, and the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) range level indication. Additionally, it incorporates GSI (Gear Shift Indicator), which enables the driver to select the appropriate gear under any driving circumstance to maximise the vehicle's torque, fuel efficiency, and powertrain durability.
The Isuzu D-Max and S-Cab models have a 'Variable Speed Intermittent Windscreen Wiper' technology for improved visibility in wet weather to improve safety. The addition of AC versions of the ISUZU D-MAX Super Strong Single Cab Flat Deck and Cab-Chassis models broadens the selection of commercial vehicles.

For increased fuel efficiency and lower emissions, the updated passenger pickup and SUV models now include the (ISS) Idle Stop System, low-friction tyres, and the Auto Transmission Fluid Warmer (AT Fluid) in automatic variations. For extra comfort and convenience, the ISUZU Hi-Lander model now has the "Climate Control Auto AC unit with integrated controls" and 'Rear defogger'.

The ISUZU D-MAX V-Cross Z (4x2 AT) variant ups its style quotient with a host of features that adds to its distinct identity. It now comes with New Design Black Alloy wheels, Dark Gray ORVMs, Front Fog lamp garnish given it a classy and elegant look. The ergonomically designed seats now come with Premium Brown Dual tone seat upholstery with Caf頂rown inserts on its Dual tone dashboard and door panels and Gear Selector lever. Along with other updated features, it now has ESC, traction control, cruise control, hill descent, and hill start aid. With the addition of Valencia Orange, the brand now offers 8 colour options for the V-Cross.

The Isuzu MU-X SUV now gets a new sporty and more aggressive grille as a part of new update. No other change has been made to the brand's flagship SUV.
Verdict: The Isuzu D-Max portfolio has grown in feature variety and offers superior value in its segment as a result of the addition of new features. The D-Max V-Cross's new features will improve its market position as a result of its new features.
