Since its unveil, the Jeep Meridian has been the buzz of the town, and now it got a launch date. The Jeep Meridian SUV is scheduled to be launch on 19 May. The brand has already begun taking reservations for the Meridian at a Rs 50,000 deposit, with deliveries expected to begin in June. The Jeep Meridian is now being manufactured in Stellantis India's Ranjangaon factory.
Jeep Meridian Engine and Transmission
When it comes to the engine, it comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This engine produces the same 168 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque as the Compass. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, and customers can also choose the 9-speed torque converter transmission. The Meridian also has four different driving modes: Sand, Snow, Auto, and Mud. With a time of 10.8 seconds from zero to 100 kmph and a top speed of 198 kmph, it is said to have the best acceleration in its class.

Jeep Meridian Exterior, Interior and Features
The Meridian is 364mm longer, 41mm wider, and 42mm taller than its smaller sibling Compass in terms of dimensions. In addition, it features a 158mm larger wheelbase, which is visible from the side. Other upgrades include chrome elements, sharp-looking LED headlights, new LED Daytime Running Lights, a broad central air inlet, trapezoidal wheel arches, newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED taillights, and more.
Moving to the interior, it features a dual-tone black and Emperador brown cabin, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an all-digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, steering wheel with mounted controls, third-row inclination of up to 32 degrees, and more. UConnect 5, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, and a dual-zone automatic temperature control system are among the additional features.

All model levels of the Jeep Meridian SUV will come standard with six airbags, as well as 60+ safety features. A 360-degree parking camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and other features are provided.
The Meridian will go up against other D-segment SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and others when it debuts.
