Jeep, an American automaker, is preparing to reveal its seven-seater SUV tomorrow. The brand is likely to reveal the specifics of the next SUV's engine, transmission, and variants. The Jeep Meridian is expected to go on sale in May 2022, and some dealers have already begun taking unofficial reservations for the vehicle. The Jeep Meridian will be manufactured in India, the style of the Meridian is influenced by the Compass and Grand Cherokee. It has a similar front profile to the Compass, but with a few small aesthetic differences. LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, body claddings, integrated roof rails, and a somewhat upright rear are just a few of the outward features.
Interior Design and Features
The interior of the Meridian, will feature a dual-tone design on the dashboard and complimented with the dual-tone seats and door padding. A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, linked car technology, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch completely digital driver's display, and powered and ventilated front seats are believed to be among the features.

The Jeep Meridian is believed to be powered by the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine seen in the Compass. It has a maximum torque of 350 Nm and delivers 168 horsepower of power. The engine is likely to be adjusted to provide more power. A 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission might be available. The manual SUV will have a 4x2 configuration, while the automatic SUV will have both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
Safety Features
Rear parking sensors, high-speed warning system, 6 or more airbags, front parking sensors (anticipated), tyre-pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, hill descent control, front seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and other safety features are anticipated to be available on the Jeep Meridian. It may also include ADAS features for lane-change assist, emergency braking, cruise control etc.
Pricing Details
The Jeep Meridian will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Skoda Kodiaq whenever it is released. In terms of pricing, we anticipate it will be priced between Rs 35 lakh and Rs 39 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
