One of the most prominent and futuristic launches of 2022, Kia EV6 will be launched on June 2, 2022, and in this article, we will be sharing the top 5 highlights that you need to look out for in the upcoming electric crossover. Here's the list -
Battery
Kia will be bringing in the top of the line GT variant of the EV6 that will be available with AWD and RWD configurations. The deliveries for the former will commence from September whereas, for the RWD, units will be delivered by December. Powered by a 77.4 kWh battery, the AWD puts out 325 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 605 Nm. 0-100 kmph sprint is well achieved in just 3.5 seconds and the battery can be juiced up from 10% to 80% in a matter of just 18 minutes with the 350kW DC fast charger.

Design
Based on the E-GMP platform, the EV6 packs in a striking looking design. At the front, it gets all-LED headlights, a sharper bumper set-up and Kia calls it as Digital Tiger Face. The sloping roofline, premium looking alloy wheels and inverted U-shaped LED taillight set-up just complete the Kia EV6.
Features
The EV6 will be loaded with features up to the brim. It'll get all-LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a dual-screen set-up (for the touchscreen and instrument cluster), dual-zone climate control, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, multiple driving modes, power-adjustable seats, a sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and more.

Safety
Kia EV6 recently scored 5 stars at the Australasian New Car Assesment Program. Furthermore, the EV6 will be equipped with an advanced driver assistance system, eight airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, multi-collision brake system, tyre pressure monitoring system and others.
Price
The bookings for the same have already commenced at Rs 3 lakh and the expected prices stick from Rs 65 lakh to Rs 70 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The dealerships also claim that Rs 50,000 will be deducted from the booking amount if any cancellations are made. However, with some negotiation, this too can be waived off. The EV6 will be limited to 100 units only initially.
