Catching up with the rest of the industry, Mahindra is here with its price revision from April 2023. This time, it is the iconic Mahindra Bolero and its Neo iteration. (who screamed TUV?) Earlier the Mahindra Thar, XUV300, and XUV700 were handed out their new price tags. Other manufacturers are also keeping them updated with these revisions.
Let us quickly get into the quantum of change and the new price list compared to the older one.
Mahindra Bolero Price Hiked
MAHINDRA BOLERO 1.5L TURBO DIESEL | |||
Variant | Old Price | Difference | New Price |
B4 Manual | Rs. 9,53,400 | Rs. 24,601 | Rs. 9,78,001 |
B6 Manual | Rs. 9,99,994 | No change | Rs. 9,99,994 |
B6 (O) Manual | Rs. 10,48,400 | Rs. 30,599 | Rs. 10,78,999 |
These increases in price can be attributed to the cumulative effect of the rising costs and the new stringent BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. While every carmaker is looking to offset this coupling effect, Bolero needs to be there too. Mahindra Bolero received a price hike of up to Rs.30,600. The latest revision makes the range of price between Rs. 9,78,001 and Rs. 10,78,999. While the mid-spec B6 variants prices remain unchanged, the B4 and B6 (O) get a price hike of Rs. 24,601 and Rs. 30,600, respectively.
Bolero Neo Price Hike
The Bolero Neo on the other hand receives a standard hike of Rs. 15,000. This is for all the variants except the limited edition Bolero Neo. After this, the ex-showroom price of the Neo starts at Rs. 9.63 lakhs.
VERDICT- As far as the price hikes are considered, it is very much the case with almost all the manufacturers. The only one remaining is Tata Motors, which will be hiking the prices from next month, that is May 2023. The Thar, XUV700, XUV300, and more already have a premium price tag when compared to the previous pricing.
