The Mahindra eKUV100 EV too is under development and is expected to be launched in the market in the coming months. The car will not only boast a capable powertrain but in addition to this, is also expected to be priced extremely aggressively. The Mahindra eKUV100 EV is one of the most anticipated cars in the Indian market and will be one of the most affordable electric cars. The car was showcased at AutoExpo 2020 and promised to be a strong contender in the growing EV space. The eKUV100 does get a number of visual changes that differentiates it from the standard models. To start with, it gets a different front grille along with some minor revisions made to the front facia that give it is a unique look. In addition to this, it also gets stylish alloy wheels and a prominent EV badge on the boot door. The build quality too is expected to be impressive and the car continues to offer high ground clearance and a compact footprint.

On the inside, the dashboard layout too is expected to remain similar to the present model. In addition to this, the eKUV100 is expected to get features like a large touchscreen system and push-button start. The seating position too will be high and great visibility from the driver's seat makes it a great car for urban usage. On the safety front, the car is expected to get dual airbags, ABS, EBD, seat belt reminders, rear parking sensors, speed alarms and child lock for the rear seats. In addition to this, the brand may also offer ISOFIX mounts as a standard part of the package.
While official details are yet to be revealed, we do expect Mahindra to offer a decently powerful motor with this upcoming Mahindra EV. In addition to this, the car will also boast a range of around 150 Kms on a single charge. Once launched, the upcoming Mahindra eKUV100 EV is expected to rival the cars like the upcoming Maruti WagonR. We also expect Tata Punch to introduce an electric version of the Tata Punch in the market soon. The Tata Punch EV and the Mahindra KUV100 EV will compete in a similar price segment.
