Following the success of Bolero Neo, Mahindra will soon bring the Bolero Neo Plus in the Indian market. The Bolero Neo Plus will be made available in 7 and 9-seat configurations thus making it one of the most affordable SUVs with this layout.
Powering the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel motor that is also seen in the base S3 trim of the Scorpio Classic. This motor pumps out as much as 119 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 280 Nm. It will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission only. The Bolero Neo Plus also gets an Eco mode in which it churns out 93 bhp of power.
Feature-wise, we expect the Bolero Neo Plus to offer a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manual HVAC control, all-four power windows, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, dual-tone interior, electrically adjustable ORVMs, LED daytime running lights and more.
Design-wise, we do expect a restyled front fascia with altered headlight set-up, reworked bumper and updated grille design. Moving towards the side profile then do expect different alloy wheels design and reworked side cladding. At the rear, we expect an updated set of taillights and bumper design.
The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will also have dual airbags at the front, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, a front seat-belt reminder, a high-speed alert system, speed-sensing door lock, rear parking sensors and more safety features.
