Maruti Suzuki after acknowledging the rising demand for a black color option, launched the Black edition of Arena cars just last month. It gives all cars like the Maruti Brezza, Baleno, Alto, S-Presso, and other Arena cars a Pearl Black Paint scheme. Interestingly, it was launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company. Now the same can be spotted reaching dealerships to be handed over to the customers.

Maruti Brezza Black Edition
The Brezza Black Edition is a reply to the Dark Edition of Tata Nexon. While the Nexon has been around for quite some time now, but this has been a long time coming. And when it's here, it lives up to the expectations. It fets a completely black exterior with a silver chin on the bumper.
Little chrome elements on the grille at the front with the brand logo chromed out as well. Meanwhile, the alloy is gloss black and has the same design as before. It is important to note that the variant in discussion is the ZXi variant.

The usual chrome window lining strip at the bottom is black, and not chrome like before. Apart from this, it remains identical to the Zxi variant as before. If you want an all-blacked-out vehicle, there are very minimal chrome elements present in this one. You will be very much satisfied in most areas.
Maruti Brezza Zxi Variant Details
Mechanically, the Brezza ZXi variant gets two powertrain options a 1.5-liter petrol and the new 1.5-liter CNG engine unit. This engine is capable of producing 103bhp and 138Nm of torque in petrol mode. While in CNG mode, the engine is tuned to produce 87bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. As for the transmission, it gets a 5-speed manual and an automatic unit as well.
VERDICT- The Black Edition was launched last month and has now started reaching the dealerships. While the standard colors were selling well, this would add a nice boost to the already great numbers. Plus, this is just the spotting of Brezza in Black, whereas all the other cars will also be coming in black as time goes by.
