Last year, Maruti discontinued the diesel engine and brought in the 1.5L petrol motor and still, it went onto become one of the top-selling SUVs. So as you have seen from the table above, the prices of 2021 Maruti Brezza has increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 12,000 depending on the variants. The manual versions have got the most hike of Rs 12,000 and the rest gets an update from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000.
Maruti Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 compliant naturally aspirated petrol engine. This unit produces 103 bhp with 138 Nm of peak torque and gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. You also get an optional 4-speed torque converter unit as well.
In other news, Maruti is also working on their in-house 1.5L diesel engine which got discontinued last year. This unit will first make its way to Ertiga and then XL6, Ciaz, Brezza will follow the lead too. We spotted the BS6 compliant diesel unit in our exclusive spy shot a few months back.

Maruti Brezza targets the buyers of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Ford Ecosport. In 2022, we are expecting a new Brezza which will host as many as 6 airbags, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a stronger bodyshell, updated features and among many other things.
