Maruti e Vitara Interiors Spotted Ahead Of January Debut
The Maruti e Vitara is no stranger now as it has already been revealed in Milan a few days back. While it created a stir, given the beast effect that the Maruti cars tend to have on the competition, with over 50% market share in the overall car sales in India. However, ahead of the reveal at Bharat Mobility Show 2025, the e Vitara has been spied under heavy wrapping in black, dropping hints on what's on the inside.
So, we finally got a peek inside the new Maruti e-Vitara for India, and guess what? It's got those sophisticated looking dual screens and a two-spoke steering wheel. The inside looks pretty fancy too, with two different color combination for the cabin and a modern dashboard. As for the feature, it has all the bells and whistleslike auto AC, a big sunroof, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, wireless charging, and all that connected car stuff.
On the safety side, it will be offering six airbags, ABS, stability control, and an electronic parking brake that holds the car for you. But the big news? There's a radar visible on the front, which means it's getting ADAS! While this would be a first for Maruti, it's a long time coming.

Battery And Range Details
The e-Vitara will be available with two battery options: a 49 kWh pack and a larger 61 kWh unit. The 49 kWh battery will be paired exclusively with a two-wheel-drive (2WD) configuration. However, the 61 kWh battery will offer the added option of all-wheel drive (4WD), utilizing Maruti's ALLGRIP-e 4WD system. Coming to the range, it is expected that with the bigger pack, it will claims somewhere around 600 km on a single charge.
Verdict
The e Vitara will write a new chapter in the brand's legacy in India and potentially add new layer to the electric SUV segment. The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and others will have to face this promising electric mover, that has a very strong brand image amongst the masses. However, it's the price positioning, that will make or break its future, something that Maruti, almost, always nails!
