Maruti Suzuki has launched its flagship MPV, the Maruti Invicto, with an introductory price starting at Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base Zeta+ trim. The Invicto MPV is available in two trims: Zeta+ and Alpha+. Additionally, customers can choose from two seating configurations to suit their needs.
Let's get on with the details of one of the most awaited launches of the year.
Maruti Invicto- Design, Dimensions, And More
Starting with the dimensions, since it is based on the Innova Hycross, the dimensions are in no way different. It has a length of 4,755mm, a width of 1,850mm, and a height of 1,795mm, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.
Now coming to the overall exterior profiling, it still carries with it the Innova essence, with, of course, some tweaks of its own. The Invicto showcases a distinct grille design, featuring a similar overall shape but with a slightly different mesh pattern and two prominent horizontal chrome slats that flushes into the headlights. Notably, the headlights incorporate Nexa's signature three-block DRLs, adding to its visual appeal. Additionally, the Invicto sports a uniquely styled front bumper and faux skid plates, contributing to its rugged and stylish aesthetic.

Coming to the rear, it gets restyled tail lamps with a signature NEXA design. Also, the 17-inch alloy wheels carry a different design. Apart from these changes, and of course, the nametag, it is pretty much similar.

The 2023 Invicto MPV offers a range of impressive features within its interior. These include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, captain seats for the second row, and a powered tailgate. The Invicto has a boot space of 239 liters and can be expanded up to 690 liters with the third row folded down.

In terms of safety, the Invicto MPV is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, an electric parking brake, a 360-degree camera, and six airbags as standard, ensuring a high level of safety for its occupants. However, it skips the ADAS features, which are present on the Hycross.
Powertrain
The Invicto is equipped with a robust hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. Together, they generate a combined output of 184hp and come mated to an e-CVT. Interstingly, the Invicto is the first Maruti Suzuki model to be exclusively offered as a hybrid and feature automatic transmission only. As a strong hybrid, the Invicto also offers an electric-only mode. It boasts a claimed 0-100kph acceleration time of 9.5 seconds and a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.24kpl.

The Invicto MPV is available in two variants, namely Zeta+ and Alpha+. The ex-showroom prices for each variant are as follows:
