Maruti Suzuki Brezza Feature Updates
The brand has recently updated the features offered in the Brezza and included the details in the vehicle's brochure. According to the brochure, the Brezza now comes equipped with a seat belt reminder lamp and buzzer for all seats. Additionally, some safety features have been removed from the CNG variants. The ESP & Hill Hold Assist, previously available in both Petrol and CNG variants, is now exclusive to the Petrol powertrain variants.
The manufacturer has decided to exclude mild hybrid technology in the manual gearbox versions of the vehicle. Now, only the AT (automatic gearbox) models will be able to use this technology. This engine is available with both a 5-speed manual and an automatic transmission. The second engine choice is a 1.5-liter petrol+CNG engine, producing 87 bhp of power and 121.5 Nm of peak torque. Verdict
The inclusion of the seat belt reminder in the new model aims to ensure compliance with government regulations that require this safety feature. However, the removal of the ESP and Hill Hold Assist from the CNG variants might disappoint potential CNG variant buyers. These crucial safety features should be mandatory in all vehicle variants to enhance overall safety standards. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza competes with the Hyundai Venue, KIA Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and other sub-4 meter SUVs.
