To increase sedan sales, market leader Maruti Suzuki has announced discounts of up to 1.12 lakhs for the Ciaz. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is enjoying its 5th year anniversary and it has been a great success and gathered more units than its rivals.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is getting total discounts of up to 1.12 lakhs. The 1.5 diesel variants will cost you around 1 lakh less after the discounts. OEMs have to clear their stocks before the emission norms deadline and we all are familiar with no diesel cars from MSIL post BS6 norms kick in. Ciaz is currently available with a 1.5-liter DDIS 225 in-house developed diesel engine which produces 95 hp and 225 Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The current range for the diesel starts from Rs 9.97-11.38 lakhs ex-showroom.
MSIL is yet to announce the BS6 variants of the Ciaz petrol and it is available with a 1.5-litre BS4 engine producing 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque and can be had with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed auto. The price range starts from Rs 8.19- 10.98 lakhs ex-showroom. Ciaz petrol is now available at a Rs 70000 discount across all the petrol variants at a dealership level.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz competes with cars like Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Toyota Yaris, Skoda Rapid and the Volkswagen Vento. It has been defeating all these cars consistently for a long time and proved itself the market leader. Ciaz comes with standard safety features like dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS, EBD, speed sensing alarm, rear parking sensors and seatbelt reminders.
