Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
There's a lot riding on the Suzuki e-Vitara, as it is the brand's first electric car, and they have created an entirely new model with a new chassis, design, and layout. A few months ago, it was unveiled globally in Spain, where we also learned about its impressive specifications. It will be offered with two battery packs: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, both sending power to the front wheels.
Additionally, there's another version of the 61 kWh with an AWD setup. The car produces 183 PS and 300 Nm of torque, which is intelligently distributed to all four wheels to ensure that each wheel receives torque uniformly, providing the best driving experience.
In the new teaser video, the Suzuki e-Vitara is seen effortlessly crushing piles of snow, drifting away all the problems one faces on heavy snow-covered roads. This smooth performance is achieved through the ALLGRIP-e system. In the current Grand Vitara, the company offers an AWD system with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, but it doesn't seem as exciting since this engine produces only 103 PS and 136.8 Nm of torque. However, the new e-Vitara offers 300 Nm of torque, so it will be interesting to see how it drives.
Another thing that stands out in this video is the color, Bluish Black Pearl, which gives it a tough and macho look.

Verdict
Maruti Suzuki is ready to bring their highly anticipated e-Vitara to the Bharat Mobility Show 2025, with a launch expected in March or April. On paper and in photos, this car looks amazing, and my instinct says it will carry forward the legacy of the brand. The AWD variant will be the top model on offer, so it has less chance of becoming the best-seller, as its price is expected to be around 25 to 30 lakh.
