The SUV segment in India is growing and we see two new entrants coming to the market, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. While we know everything about the Kushaq, there have been few details about the Volkswagen Taigun interiors and in this recent leak, things are detailed to much proximity.
The first difference is the virtual cockpit in the Taigun which looks amazingly well. Skoda is exciting the buyers with the 2-spoke steering wheel while VW knows to keep it subtle and bring in a virtual cockpit system. This displays several information and the MID gives details like average fuel consumption, average speed, distance to empty and more. The multi-function steering wheel of the Taigun does more than expected.
The silver accents on the dashboard and rectangular AC vents give a cleaner look in the cabin. Largely, the cabin of the VW retains the all-black theme but we go see the grey treatment on the seats, door panels, lower parts of the dashboard and among others. Personally, an all-black out cabin would grow more in the market.
