In a recent event, a test mule of an upcoming Tata car was spotted on test. The brand is working on a variety of new models, including ICE and EVs. It seems like the new-generation Tata Nexon SUV, based on its size and shape. The test mule's interior and overall outward posture were visible despite the fact that it was completely camouflaged.

The test mule's heavy camouflage revealed new bodywork at the back and rear. The headlights are positioned in the front bumper lower down, and connected LED DRLs are located above it. Additionally, the bumpers and profile of the back end have been modified. We can anticipate a new alloy wheel design on the side because the test mule had them totally covered. The SUV's overall size and shape resemble those of its current version.
The test mule also gave a glimpse of the interior which showed a bigger screen, instead of a 7-inh screen in the current generation. We can also anticipate that the interior will get a redesigned design, added features and added safety features such as 6-airbags and others. Currently, the Nexon gets features like ventilated seats, electric sunroof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which will be carried over to the new generation as well.

Tata Nexon Powertain
The brand's new turbocharged petrol engine debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo is anticipated to be installed in the next-generation Tata Nexon. It will produce 125 PS of power. Currently, the SUV has a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmission, along with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The 1.5-liter diesel engine can generate a maximum torque of 260 Nm and 108 bhp. Both a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission are available for this powerplant. The upcoming new generation's petrol engine will be E20 fuel ready. For the Nexon, the company might introduce a new CNG powertrain.
