Nissan India has announced a voluntary recall of its Magnite model for the retrofit of front door handle sensors. Nissan Magnite: Which Variants Are Affected?
Nissan Magnite is available in four broad variants - XE, XL, XV, and XV premium. Only the base XE and mid-XL variants manufactured between November 2020 and December 2023 are affected. However, the company assures that there's no impact on customer safety. Furthermore, all Nissan Magnites manufactured after December 2023 remain unaffected, so there's no need for concern.

Will There Be Any Charges For The Services?
Will there be any cost for the repair? No, customers don't need to worry about that. If your vehicle is affected, just swing by an authorized Nissan service workshop. They'll take care of it by retrofitting the sensor for free. Even customers who are unsure whether their car is affected can get it checked at the dealership or visit the Nissan recall page online. By entering their vehicle's VIN number, they can quickly find out. If they discover their vehicle is affected, they can then reach out to the nearest dealer for assistance.
Nissan Magnite: Prices, Engine, And Rivals
The Nissan Magnite has a price range starting from Rs 6 lakh and going up to Rs 10.91 lakh. It offers two engine options: a 1-litre naturally aspirated engine with 72 PS power and 96 Nm torque, available with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission, and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 100 PS power and up to 160 Nm torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.
