The upcoming facelift has been spotted on several occasions and is anticipated to make its debut in the upcoming months. Exterior Design Update
The present-generation Nexon showcases a robust front stance, characterized by a curvaceous headlamp and an entirely black front grille. The front bumper boasts a novel design, featuring a C-shaped arrangement encircling the fog lights. The inclusion of a faux skid plate and the tri-arrow pattern within the lower intake contributes to an enhanced sporty appearance for the Nexon. Notable interior features include a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a floating-style touchscreen infotainment system, and a multifunctional steering wheel, among other prominent highlights.

The interior of the upcoming facelift will showcase a refreshed design, complemented by new upholstery color options. A test prototype was recently observed featuring a distinct purple interior upholstery. Engine & Transmission Update
Presently, the Nexon is available with a choice of two engine variants: a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor. The petrol powerplant generates 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of maximum torque, while the diesel engine delivers 115 PS of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both of these engine options are coupled with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AMT unit.
In the upcoming facelift, there is speculation that the brand could introduce a more potent 1.2-litre petrol engine, capable of generating 125PS of power and 225Nm of peak torque. This engine upgrade could potentially incorporate a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), a feature already present in the Altroz, making its debut in the Nexon. The other two engine options are expected to remain unchanged.
